About Me
The son of Faye Parker and the late Bruce Parker, Dr. Parker completed a PhD in Systematic Theology (with a minor in Biblical Theology) in 2023 at SWBTS under Dr. Craig Blaising. He is a volunteer advisor for Cyber Team US. He was formerly a marketing and training specialist at Accordance Bible Software and a support and training consultant at AEM. A native of Hot Springs, Arkansas, he has lived most of his life in the Natural State with the exception of a few years in the North Georgia Mountains. Prior to his PhD program, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Ministry at Luther Rice University and a M Div in Biblical Languages at Luther Rice College and Seminary. He graduated high school from the Abeka Academy DVD program (based on Pensacola Christian Academy in Pensacola, Florida). He was also a national member of the NSFM Piano Guild for ten years (and took piano lessons for eleven years from the late Barbara Dodson), earning his gold Paderewski medal his final year. While in college through his M Div, he was the President/CEO of Mallard Computer, Inc. In addition to his work, he enjoys playing the piano, taking photographs, interacting with technology, and is a licensed Extra class HAM radio operator (N5PKR) who volunteers to assist his local community with severe weather updates on his weather blog at WeatherTogether.
